Nimbus
Nimbus is a lightweight operations layer for watching small automations, recurring tasks, and system signals. It is meant to make background work legible without turning every task into a dashboard project.

This page pulls the project out of the card view and records the useful context around it: the role, the shape of the problem, the decisions that matter, and the current direction.
Nimbus sits in the space between a clear user need and the practical details that make a tool hold up in real use. The challenge is keeping the experience understandable while the underlying work gets more capable.
The current shape of the project is easiest to understand through the capabilities it is built around.
The implementation is guided by the constraints in the work itself: automation · ops, the role I played, and the places where the project has to stay simple enough to maintain.
The working pattern is to keep the public surface narrow, make the core behavior predictable, and let iteration happen where it can be tested quickly.
My role on this was solo design & build. The useful lesson has been restraint: every new affordance has to earn its place, especially when the project is meant to be used repeatedly rather than admired once.
The current state is exploring. The next pass is about sharpening what already works, replacing placeholders with real artifacts, and keeping the page honest as the project changes.
